Registration notes:

  1. Your personal information will be sent to the e-mail address you enter on the forms.
  2. Keep all e-mails you send to us, and all confirmation e-mails, as they may be required at a future time to verify your qualifications.
  3. To keep your application active, you must re-register and submit a complete updated application at least annually, even if no information has changed. If you are registering an update to a previous application, enter the date you first applied to Wingale as the "Application date" in your registration and application forms. If you are registering a new application, enter today's date.
  4. If your original application date was before 2023, then in step 5 above, for a payment receipt, attach any e-mail or other correspondence from the Wingale office that confirms your application date and/or payment of the application fee.
  5. To complete your registration and be qualified for consideration when we have a vacancy, within 30 days of your registration you must also send an e-mail as directed in the Notes For Applicants with these attachments: your Registration confirmation e-mail, Application form, payment receipt (or equivalent, as noted above), your Knowledge Quiz confirmation e-mail, and all other documents listed in the Notes For Applicants. You are responsible for submitting all required documents, and you will not be notified if your registration is incomplete in any way.
  6. If you have any questions about the application instructions or process, please e-mail your inquiry and do not call the office.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What kinds of units do you have?

Our units are multi-level townhouses with 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms. Our units are not "accessible" and we do not provide any form of supportive housing or assisted living services.

What appliances does the co-op provide?

Units do not include any plug-in appliances. You must provide your own refrigerator, electric stove, and if you wish, a washer and electric clothes dryer. Some units include a dishwasher, and most do not. Counter-top dishwashers or portable dishwashers are not permitted.

Are utilities included?

No; you must pay for your own electricity, gas and other services. In some units there are additional charges for rental of a water heater and/or lease of a central air conditioning system.

Once I've applied, how can I find out where I am on the waiting list?

You can't, because your original application date isn't the only factor we consider when qualifying candidates for interviews, and your position on the list may change with every new application received. When we have a vacancy, all currently qualified applicants are ranked using multiple criteria.

Does it cost anything to get onto the waiting list?

Yes, there is a one-time registration fee of $25 per household.

How do I update my application?

Submit a new application and indicate your original application date.
